Pacific Bus Museum
Manual Transmission Training
April 2023 – Present
As a member of this museum, I assist in driving historic museum-quality busses to events and special showings. The museum has a collection of 40+, running-and-driving, vehicles from the 1930’s to the 1990’s. Driving many of these vehicles requires mastery of double-clutch transmissions with various shifting patterns.
I have pulled a DMV “learners permit” with the goal of testing at DMV to lift my “E” restriction, which currently limits my commercial driving to automatic transmissions only.

College & Early Career
Radio/TV/Film, Multimedia, & Internet
1990’s and before
Growing up I was very interested in “the media”. Along that pursuit I attended both San Jose State University and San Francisco State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Communications Degree (Radio/TV/Film) in 1991.
My initial forays into the working world included working as a recording engineer for films and working in audio recording studios. This led to my transition to multimedia (CD-ROM’s) production and then to the World Wide Web, where I dedicated almost 30 years.
